Built in 1966 by the Illinois Central Railroad at their Centralia Shops for service on IC freight trains.  #199417 was one of 60 cars built in this series. Serving the IC trains for many years the car was eventually retired and sold into private ownership. Some of the mechanical attributes include good body and roof, original interior, roller bearings, ICRR stamped trucks, marker lights, body mounted brake cylinders, comp shoes, AB brake valves, good wheels, current COT&S.
